On Wednesday morning near Griffith Park, one person was killed and another injured after a pickup truck rolled several times on the 5 Freeway. The incident occurred around 3:30 am on the northbound freeway near the Griffith Park Drive off-ramp, according to CBS News. Officers arrived on scene to find the truck on its side in the slow lane after having overturned multiple times. Debris from the crash was strewn across most of the freeway lanes.  

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while another person in an unknown condition was taken to the hospital. The two northbound lanes were closed for several hours while CHP investigated the crash.
