On Wednesday morning, one person was killed and another injured following a major crash in Fresno. According to FOX 26 News, the incident occurred around 4:10 am at Shaw and Chateau Fresno Avenues. A man was driving a 2006 Hyundai Tucson westbound when he crossed into the eastbound lane, hitting a man who was driving eastbound in a 2020 Chevy Silverado.

The two vehicles sustained major front end damage. The Tucson driver was declared dead at the scene, while the driver of the Silverado complained of back pain and was sent to the hospital. At the time of the report, neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to play a role in the crash.
