On Sunday morning, two males fled on foot after crashing their gray Hyundai into an embankment during a police chase. According to KTLA, the high-speed car chase began in East Los Angeles around 1:00 am and lasted about two hours, spanning multiple L.A. County cities and two Southern California counties.  

The pursuit eventually ended In Irvine, where the Hyundai crashed down an embankment in the Alton Parkway and the 241 Freeway area. Both male occupants ran toward a business near an apartment complex, where the authorities caught and detained the men around 3 am. At the time of the report, it was unclear if the Hyundai had been stolen.
