2 Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Pole in Barrio Logan
On Tuesday morning, two people suffered life-threatening injuries after their car collided with a traffic control pole in Barrio Logan. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the crash occurred around 9:32 am in the 3500 block of East Harbor Drive. A 2023 Jaguar XF was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it veered to the right and hit a traffic pole.
The woman in the front passenger seat had her right arm severed from her body. The passenger in the back seat suffered two fractured vertebrae and a possible fractured pelvis. Police reported that the driver was suffering from a lack of sleep, which had caused him to drift off the road.
