2 Dead Following Fiery Crash in South Los Angeles
On Monday morning, two people were killed in a violent single-car crash in South Los Angeles. The collision took place around 2:10 am in Los Angeles’ Wilmington neighborhood, according to KTLA. A Nissan SUV was traveling south on Alameda Street when it hit a concrete center divider underneath an overpass, causing the car to become engulfed in flames. When Los Angeles Fire Department crews arrived and extinguished the fire, they found two individuals inside the vehicle. Both victims were declared dead at the scene.
Alameda Street remained closed between Sepulveda Boulevard and East O Street while debris was cleared from the road. At the time of the report, the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
