On Monday, two people died following separate traffic incidents in San Jose. In one incident, a driver was involved in a solo vehicle crash in the Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue area, according to KRON 4. The San Jose Police Department received a call about an overturned vehicle on the side of the road; when medical personnel arrived on scene, the driver was pronounced dead.

In a separate incident, a motorcyclist sustained major injuries during a crash in the Alameda and Newhall area. He was taken to the hospital, but eventually succumbed to his injuries despite lifesaving efforts. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. These incidents are the 21st and 22nd traffic fatalities in San Jose this year.
