On Wednesday morning, two men died after their dune buggy collided with a Freightliner in Fresno County. According to ABC 30, the crash happened around 1:00 am at Westlawn and Belmont Avenues. The dune buggy was traveling south on Westlawn when it failed to stop at a stop sign, driving directly into the path of the Freightliner going eastbound on Belmont.  

Both occupants of the dune buggy were pronounced dead at the scene. The Freightliner driver reported the crash and remained on scene, reported Your Central Valley. Officers stated that the dune buggy had no lighting and was not street-legal. At the time of the report, it was unknown whether the driver of the dune buggy was under the influence.
