On Wednesday afternoon, a five-car crash left six injured in the Cottonwood area. The incident happened around 2:38 pm in the Bowman Road and Adams Road area, according to Action News Now. The eastbound lanes of Bowman Road had been closed to traffic due to construction. The driver of a Dodge Ram 3500 was traveling eastbound on Bowman when they looked away from the road and failed to avoid the stopped traffic in front of them. The crash shoved four cars forward into each other: a Ford Escape, a Kia Soul, a Lincoln MKZ, and a Chevrolet Impala. The Ram was traveling around 40 miles per hour at the time.

Six people suffered minor injuries, and two victims in the Lincoln were taken to a local hospital. Bowman Road was blocked for over an hour while emergency crews worked to clear the crash site. At the time of the report, the crash remained under investigation.
