Earlier this week, there was an Amazon truck crash on Interstate 15 in the Mission Valley area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Tuesday morning, near Interstate Eight. Initial reports indicate that a vehicle hit the Amazon Prime semi truck, and the truck jackknifed in the roadway.

First responders rushed to the scene, and the three fast lanes had to be immediately closed. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. No other injuries were reported on the scene. Crews and a tow truck worked to clear the scene, so morning traffic could resume as normal. At this time, there has been no word on whether or not either driver is facing any kind of citation associated with the crash.
