Last week, five young ballet dancers were injured by a hit-and-run driver in the Seal Beach area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, there was surveillance footage of the area, and the vehicle involved was a gold 1987 Mercedes Benz 300. Initial reports indicate that the Mercedes blew through a stop light on Pacific Coast Highway at Main Street and hit a sedan with five teenage girls in it.

Those girls, all members of the Premier Dance Arts of Los Alamitos, were rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Some of the injuries these girls are facing include broken ribs, punctured lungs, and a shattered pelvis among other injuries. At the time of the report, authorities had not tracked the driver down. This wreck could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
