According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened at about 6:00 a.m. near River Road and Bluff Street in Norco. Apparently, the cyclist was on his way to the train station to go to work when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.

The cyclist was knocked unconscious and left on the roadside. The driver didn’t stop to offer help or call for assistance. An off-duty police officer found the injured cyclist. He was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital, and he sustained a fractured cheekbone, injured wrist and a large laceration on his head.
