On Tuesday morning in San Ysidro, hundreds of South Bay residents were left without power after a car struck a trailer park’s power box. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the crash took place around 3:00 am at the La Palma Trailer Park at 2420 Palm Avenue. One person was injured and taken to UC San Diego Health medical center.  
 
Power was cut off to 500 residents in San Ysidro, Nestor, and Otay Mesa as a result of the incident. Video footage showed a dark-colored sedan resting upside down on its roof near the damaged power box. At the time of the report, it was unknown what led up to the collision.
