Over the weekend, two CHP officers were in a patrol car that was struck by a vehicle on the 215 Freeway. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning near the University Parkway exit in San Bernardino. Apparently, the CHP officers were responding to another crash, when the vehicle struck their patrol car. They were inside of the patrol car at the time of the collision.  

No information has been released about their injuries, but we do know that they were taken to a local hospital for treatment. At least one person was detained on the scene, but there was no word on what if any charges that person was facing at the time of the news report. This incident could still be under investigation.
