Earlier this week, there was a crash involving a delivery truck in Lemon Grove. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened early Monday morning in the eastbound lanes of State Route 94, near College Avenue. Initial reports indicate that a car hit the back of a delivery truck at about 4:00 a.m. The truck driver reportedly felt an impact to his vehicle that he initially thought might have been a flat tire. He pulled over and saw that there was actually a car wedged under the back of his delivery truck.

First responders rushed to the scene, where they had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the car driver from the wreckage. It took them over a half hour to get him out. He was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of injuries, and this crash is likely still under investigation.
