On the evening of July 4th, a 20-year-old cyclist was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash in Orange County. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened near Bushard Street and Columbus Court in Fountain Valley. For currently unknown reasons, a vehicle slammed into the cyclist and fled the scene.  

The cyclist, 20-year-old Caysen Robinson, suffered from a broken leg, fractures to his face and jaw and a heart rupture. At the time of the news report, officials had not located the hit-and-run driver. Evidence left at the scene suggests that the vehicle may have been a 2014 to 2019 Toyota Highlander, and anybody with information about the hit-and-run driver or vehicle is being asked to contact the Fountain Valley Police Department.
