Earlier this week, a man was killed by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bicycle in Pomona. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened early Wednesday morning at around 5:30 a.m. Initial reports indicate that the cyclist, a man in his 50s, was riding near Mission Boulevard and East End Avenue, when he was struck by a passing vehicle. It’s possible he was trying to cross East End Avenue when he was hit.  

The cyclist did not survive his injuries and was declared dead at the scene. At the time of the report, local law enforcement officials were asking anybody with information about this fatal hit-and-run crash to contact the local police department or Crime Stoppers. There has been no word on whether or not the driver has been apprehended, and this crash is likely still under investigation.
