On Tuesday morning, a fatal crash caused a traffic backup on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles. According to NBC Los Angeles, the crash occurred around 5:00 am on the northbound lanes of the 110 near the 3rd Street exit. The victim was found on the shoulder and pronounced dead at the scene. At the time of the report, it was unclear whether the victim was a pedestrian or if they were inside the vehicle when the collision took place.   

The incident caused major traffic delays during rush hour due to lane closures, with traffic backed up around 11 miles to the 105 Freeway, stated KTLA. All northbound lanes were reopened by 7:30 am.
