Over the weekend, there was a fatal hit-and-run motorcycle crash in the Mid City area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on Sunday night near South Fairfax Avenue and Electric Drive. Initial reports indicate that a black sedan was headed northbound on Fairfax Avenue and turned onto the westbound 10 Freeway, when it struck a 2023 Kawasaki ZX-6R motorcycle that was going south on Fairfax Avenue.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where they found the 22-year-old motorcyclist. He was ejected from his bike, and was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the black sedan fled the scene, and there has been no word on whether or not that person has been located. This fatal motorcycle crash is likely still under investigation.
