Driver Crashes Car Into Tesla Dealership Sign in San Luis Obispo
On Wednesday morning, a driver sustained moderate injuries after crashing off Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. According to KSBY, the incident took place around 7:00 am in front of the Tesla dealership on the 1300 block of Calle Joaquin. The driver of a southbound grey sedan veered off the freeway south of Madonna Road and narrowly avoided hitting a box truck before crashing into the dealership sign. The car also damaged a water control device in front of the dealership, which caused the immediate area to be doused in water.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. At the time of the report, the crash was still under investigation, but DUI was not suspected as a factor.
