Earlier this week, a man was ejected from his vehicle during a crash in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Thursday morning in East County, in the Rancho San Diego area. Initial reports indicate that this single-vehicle crash happened sometime after 9:20 a.m. on Thursday morning on Willow Glen Drive, near Campbell Lane.   

For currently unknown reasons, a 2020 Dodge Challenger was unable to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. The Challenger hit a rock and then a tree. The driver, and only occupant in the vehicle, was ejected during the crash. He did not survive his injuries. At this time, there has been no word on whether or not he was buckled up at the time of the crash, and this fatal wreck is still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
