Over the weekend, a driver was rescued from a vehicle that overturned and was hanging off the side of the 605 Freeway. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened early Sunday morning at about 2:00 a.m. in Irwindale. For currently unknown reasons, a black sedan was involved in a collision, just north of Arrow Highway, and ended up dangling over the edge of the 605 on its roof.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they immediately secured the vehicle to a tow line to make sure it wouldn’t go over the edge while they rescued the trapped driver. That person was taken to a local hospital for treatment. At the time of the report, there was no word on the extent of injuries or on that person’s condition. This wreck is likely still under investigation.
