Earlier this week, an elderly man was struck and killed by a driver in Fullerton. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened early Monday morning. The wreck occurred on Chapman Avenue, between Harrington Drive and Victoria Drive, at about 5:45 a.m. Initial reports indicate that a driver was headed westbound on Chapman when they hit the elderly pedestrian.  

Sadly, the pedestrian did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved did remain on the scene to cooperate with authorities. At this time, there’s been no word on any possible citations or charges associated with this fatal pedestrian collision. Law enforcement officers are asking for witnesses or anybody with information about the crash to come forward, as the wreck is still under investigation.
