Earlier this week, there was a fatal crash in Chula Vista. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on Wednesday morning on the 700 block of E Street. Initial reports indicate that a westbound vehicle veered into a turning lane and crashed into another car.  

First responders rushed to the scene, and attempted life-saving measures on one of the injured drivers. That person, a man in his 50s, did not survive his injuries. The other driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Both drivers were the only occupants in each of their vehicles. At the time of the report, there was no word on whether or not any citations or charges had been issued, and this fatal crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
