Earlier this week, a man was killed in a crash in Lemon Grove. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on the south side of the 1600 block of Lemon Grove Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. For currently unknown reasons, there was a large piece of concrete debris in the roadway. A minivan struck the debris, and the vehicle left the roadway, went up an embankment and hit a utility pole before overturning.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where they tried to revive the driver. Sadly, he did not survive his injuries. Poor weather conditions were mentioned in the news report, and this fatal crash may still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
