Earlier this week, a woman was killed in a crash involving a fire truck in the North Hills area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened sometime after midnight on Thursday night. Initial reports indicate that a vehicle was headed east on Roscoe Boulevard when the driver ran a red light, hit a vehicle and continued driving.

That driver hit another vehicle, continued driving and struck a Los Angeles Fire Department engine. A 76-year-old woman who was in the second vehicle that was hit died in the crash. At this time, there has been no word on what charges the driver is facing, and this incident is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
