Over the weekend, there was a fatal crash on the PCH in Ventura County. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened just north of Deer Creek Road, sometime before 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. For currently unknown reasons, a southbound 2001 Jeep Wrangler crossed into oncoming traffic. The Jeep hit a 2017 Honda HRV head on.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. There were two passengers in the Honda, and they were both taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Additionally, the two occupants in the Jeep were also hospitalized. At this time, there has been no word on why the Jeep crossed into oncoming traffic, and this fatal crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
