Earlier this week, there was a fatal multi-vehicle crash involving eight vehicles on the 105 freeway in South Los Angeles. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened sometime around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. The crash, which occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway, near the 110 freeway interchange in the Vermont Vista neighborhood, took the life of one person and injured at least six others.  

Initial reports indicate that one person may have been trapped outside between two vehicles, although there has been no word on how that happened. Traffic was backed up for miles as first responders and crews worked the scene. At this time, no information has been released on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
