Earlier this week, there was a fatal head-on crash involving a Tesla Model 3 in Corona. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on the 91 Freeway early on Monday morning. Apparently, the wrong-way vehicle was the Tesla Model 3, and it struck a Mitsubishi Lancer head-on, near the on-ramp for North Lincoln Avenue.  

Both vehicles reportedly caught fire during the crash. First responders rushed to the scene, but sadly, both drivers were killed in the wreck. At the time of the report, authorities had not released their identities. No information has been released on why the Tesla was headed the wrong way. This fatal Tesla crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
