Over the weekend, there was a hit-and-run crash in Mission Hills that took the life of a motorcyclist. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened at about 12:45 a.m., on Sunday morning near Chatsworth Drive and Chatsworth Street. For currently unknown reasons, a dark-colored sedan ran a red light and hit a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was described as a man in his 40s. The driver of the hit-and-run vehicle fled the scene.  

Although the motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital, he did not survive his injuries. Anybody with information about this crash is being asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department, as this fatal motorcycle crash is still under investigation.
