Over the weekend, there was a fatal hit-and-run crash in Tarzana. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened at about 11:40 p.m. on Saturday night. Apparently, a westbound Nissan on Friar Street made a left turn onto southbound Belmar Avenue and struck a male pedestrian. The pedestrian was described as a male in his 30’s.  

The driver of the Nissan sped away from the scene. The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital, but he did not survive his injuries. At the time of the report, law enforcement authorities were calling on anybody with information about the hit-and-run driver or vehicle to come forward. This incident is likely still under investigation.
