Earlier this week, there was a fatal multi-vehicle crash in San Marcos. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Monday morning near the 400 block of North Twin Oaks Valley Road. Initial reports indicate that the crash happened sometime before 6:30 a.m. Apparently, a northbound Toyota 4Runner struck a Honda Civic, which then crashed into a BMW.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where one of the drivers had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. That person did not survive. No other injuries were reported on the scene. At this time, there has been no word on the official cause of the crash, and this wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
