Last week, a pedestrian was fatally struck in Chula Vista. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened sometime before 6:43 p.m. on Thursday evening near the intersection of Industrial Boulevard and Palomar Street. Although very few details about this fatal pedestrian crash have been released, we do know that it occurred near the Palomar Trolley Station. 

First responders rushed to the scene. They found that the pedestrian was struck and thrown onto the eastbound lane of Palomar Street, near the trolley tracks. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No information has been released on whether or not the driver involved is facing any citations or charges, but we do know that person remained on the scene to cooperate with authorities.
