On Sunday morning, there was a fatal single-vehicle crash in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the Torrey Pines area early Sunday morning. For currently unknown reasons, a motorist lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. Initial reports indicate that the 2003 Mitsubishi was headed southbound on North Torrey Pines Road at about 1:30 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, hit a tree and rolled over.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where they found the driver did not survive his injuries. He was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash. At this time, anybody with information about the crash is being asked to come forward, as the wreck is still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
