Earlier this week, there was a fatal wrong-way crash in Fontana. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened late at night on the 15 Freeway. Initial reports indicate that a northbound vehicle was traveling in the southbound lane when it hit another vehicle head on. The wreck happened just south of Sierra Avenue.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found a black Honda fully engulfed in flames. There were two occupants inside of that vehicle. They did not survive the crash. A person was also trapped in the other vehicle, a Kia hatchback, and she did not survive her injuries either. At the time of the report, it wasn’t clear which vehicle was driving the wrong way. This crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
