Over the weekend, there was a fatal and injury-causing wrong-way crash in San Bernardino. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on the 210 Freeway early Sunday morning. Initial reports indicate that a wrong-way driver was headed south in the northbound lanes of Route 259 interchange with the 210 Freeway. After the head-on collision, a third vehicle hit the wreckage.

In the crash, one person was killed and another was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, there has been no word why the first driver was going the wrong way, and no information has been released on whether or not the driver is facing any citations or charges. This fatal crash is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
