Last week, there was a fiery crash into a house in the Tierrasanta area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on Wednesday at about noon. For currently unknown reasons, a vehicle veered off of a street and into a house on the 10500 block of Gabacho Drive, just east of Santo Road and south of State Road 52. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle ruptured a natural-gas line during the crash, and that caused the fire.

Thankfully, the home was unoccupied at the time of the collision. The driver was rushed to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest for treatment of serious burns though. At the time of the report, there was no word on the cause of the crash, which could still be under investigation with authorities.
