Fiery Fatal Tesla Crash on Sunset Strip
Earlier this week, there was a fatal crash involving a Tesla on the Sunset Strip. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the fiery wreck happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Monday morning. Apparently, the Tesla driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a lamp post and a tree on the 8200 block of Sunset Boulevard, near Roxbury Road. The Tesla driver burst into flames.
The driver was able to get out of the car, and he initially fled the scene. A female passenger was trapped in the wreck, and she was pronounced dead on the scene. An additional two passengers were transported to the hospital, and one was reportedly in critical condition. The driver was picked up by another driver and taken to a hospital in critical condition. This Tesla crash is likely still under investigation.
