Over the weekend, five children, including a three-year-old boy were injured in a rollover suspected DUI crash. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Apparently, a 26-year-old man was driving a green Ford Expedition on the Qualcomm Way on-ramp to I-8 west, when the vehicle overturned. There were seven passengers in the SUV at the time of the crash, and five of them were under the age of 18.

First responders rushed to the scene, where the three-year-old boy was apparently ejected from the vehicle. He was seriously injured, and four other children were also transported to Rady’s Children’s Hospital for treatment of injuries. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
