On Sunday morning, three adults and a child were injured in a multi-vehicle crash near Balboa Park. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the incident was reported around 11:00 am near the intersection of El Prado and Balboa Drive. Officers reported to the scene after receiving calls of a speeding car that had collided with several other vehicles, included two that were parked. The impact sent at least one of the vehicles into a grassy area with parkgoers present, but no one was hit. Those who sustained injuries were all in involved vehicles, but it was unclear if the individuals were in the same vehicle.

A child was transported to a hospital as a precautionary measure, and one of the drivers was taken to another hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Two other adults also sustained minor injuries. At the time of the report, the crash was under investigation.
