Earlier this week, there was a hit-and-run crash in Downtown San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened near 16th and Market Streets, in the East Village area. Initial reports indicate that there was an argument between two people in the Ace parking lot. A man started walking away on foot, and then the other person got in his car and apparently drove down the sidewalk to run that person down.

At the time of the news report, authorities were trying to locate the driver, who was last seen headed towards State Route 94 in a red Dodge Durango. The man who was struck by the vehicle was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
