Earlier this week, there was a hit-and-run injury crash in the Pacific Beach area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the early morning hours on Tuesday. Initial reports indicate that a 56-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on the 2700 block of Garnet Avenue at about 12:32 a.m. on Tuesday.  

First responders rushed to the scene. The injured man had to be rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries including a fracture to his right femur. The vehicle involved in the collision is being described as dark red with rally sport rims. At this time, there has been no word on whether or not that person has been apprehended, and this case is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
