Last weekend, a University of Southern California student was injured in a hit-and-run crash in University Park. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened on Sunday morning at around 7:30 a.m. Initial reports indicate that the 23-year-old student was walking in a crosswalk near West Adams Boulevard and Portland Street when a pickup truck hit them and fled the scene.  

According to authorities, the truck involved was likely a blue Dodge Dakota pickup truck from between 2000 and 2004. Additionally, it had metal racks on the truck bed. The injured student was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of multiple injuries, including broken bones. At this time, law enforcement officers are asking anybody with information about the truck or driver involved to come forward. This hit-and-run injury crash is still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
