Injury Causing Head On Crash in Sorrento Valley
Over the weekend, there was an injury causing head-on collision in the Sorrento Valley area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on the 5300 block of Mira Mesa Boulevard near the Jacob Dekema (805) Freeway. Initial reports indicate that at least three people were seriously injured in the wreck that happened sometime before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
Apparently, a 26-year-old woman drove her 2014 Ford Transit van eastbound in a westbound lane before crashing into a westbound Honda Civic. There were two people in the Civic and both sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. The driver of the Ford Transit van also suffered from severe injuries, and she was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
