Last week, a Los Angeles Police Department officer was injured in a crash on the 405 Freeway. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on Friday afternoon in the southbound lanes of the 405, near Santa Monica Boulevard. Very few details about this injury crash involving a police officer have been released, but we do know that a Sigalert was issued, and a portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews and first responders worked the scene.   

The injured LAPD officer was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Hospital for treatment of injuries. No information has been released on the full extent of injuries involved or on that person’s condition. Additionally, no there has been no word on the cause of this crash, which could still be under investigation.
