Earlier this week, an LAX police motorcycle officer was injured in a crash in the Inglewood area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened at about 2:50 p.m. on the 105 Freeway, near the Hawthorne Boulevard exit, on Tuesday afternoon. Although very few details have been released about this injury crash, we do know that the police officer’s motorcycle was involved, as well as a bus and several additional vehicles.

The motorcycle officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, that person was described as “conscious, breathing and responsive” on the scene, but there has been no word on their current condition. A portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews worked the scene, and no information has been released on the cause of this crash.
