On Monday afternoon, a man was killed in a solo vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in the Morena area. According to 10 News, the incident took place around 1:00 pm near SeaWorld Drive, when the driver of a Toyota 4Runner lost control while transitioning from I-5 southbound to I-8 eastbound. The vehicle overturned and ejected the driver. He was transported to the local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Three northbound lanes on I-5 near SeaWorld were closed due to the crash. At the time of the report, toxicology tests were pending to determine if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
