Over the weekend, a man was critically injured in a crash involving an electric scooter. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on the 4200 block of West Point Loma Boulevard in the Point Loma Heights area of San Diego. Initial reports indicate that the 43-year-old man was on a Nanorobot electric scooter when, for currently unknown reasons, he lost control of it and was ejected.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where the man had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. At the time of the news report, his injuries were described as life threatening, but there has been no additional information released on his current condition or on the full extent of injuries involved. This scooter crash could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
