Last week, there was an injury crash in the Mission Bay Park area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened sometime after 9:00 p.m. on Friday night. Initial reports indicate that the wreck, which involved a 2005 Toyota Corolla, occurred in the 2000 block of Quivira Way. Apparently, the sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed, and the driver was not able to negotiate a curve in the road.  

The car crashed, and three of the four occupants fled the scene. The fourth occupant had to be rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious and life-threatening injuries including severe facial fractures. At this time, the wreck is still under investigation, and there has been no word on whether or not the other three occupants have been located.
