Motorcycle Struck by Metro Bus in The San Fernando Valley
Last week, a motorcycle was struck by a Metro bus in the San Fernando Valley. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened near the intersection of Hazeltine Avenue and Bessemer Street in Valley Glen. For currently unknown reasons, the motorcycle was struck by a Metro bus. The motorcycle was being driven by a 34-year-old man, and his 12-year-old niece was also riding on it. They were going to get snacks when the wreck happened.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The child was critically injured and rushed to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. There were between 15 and 18 passengers on the bus at the time of the crash. This fatal crash is still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
