On Sunday morning, a motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash in eastern Fresno County. The incident took place around 8:40 am on Sample Road near Pittman Hill Road, according to The Fresno Bee. The man was riding his Harley Davidson westbound when he drove off the road and onto the dirt right shoulder, hit a metal road sign, and was thrown from his motorcycle. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The driver had been wearing a helmet and did not appear to have been under the influence of alcohol. At the time of the report, the investigation was ongoing.
